2010 - Public Works Current Construction Projects
FireHouse - Notice To Proceed issued on September 15, 2009 to awarded contractor, Jones & Roberts Company, of Olympia. Jones and Roberts' bid was for $3,140,890, and includes additive alternatives to upgrade a parking lot, installation of a flagpole and moving and restoration of a historic mural.
Kneeland Park Pump Station- This project was awarded to Rodarte Contrutucion, Inc., of Auburn, with work including structure construction, restorative work, and new improvements such as landscaping and a new basketball court. Construction is expected to be complete in March.
Wastewater Treatment Plant- Project was awarded to Stellar J Corporation on December 14, 2009 in the amount of $20,088,673.01. A ground breaking ceremony is scheduled January 5th at the site, construction will start soon after. Construction is expected to continue through 2012.
SR-3 Park & Ride Project- The City will be opening this project up to formal bidding procedures in January or February. Project start-up is expected to begin in early Spring.
