Shelton, WA — On Friday March 24, 2017 at 12:45 p.m., Shelton Police responded to a domestic disturbance involving a firearm around the 200 block of Euclid Avenue.

Upon arrival, Shelton Police Officers located the female victim who claimed her boyfriend had made threats while pointing a gun at her. Shelton Police established a perimeter around the residence until the male suspect exited the basement. He was then arrested without incident.

The suspect is a 55-year-old Shelton man with an existing criminal history.  His identity is being withheld at this time pending formal charges from the Mason County Prosecutor.  The weapon alleged to have been used during the altercation was located and processed as evidence. 

The suspect was booked into the Mason County Jail for Domestic Violence Assault in the 2nd Degree.
