Fire Marshal
The Assistant Fire Chief serves in the position of City of Shelton Fire Marshal.
The Fire Marshal is responsible for the following programs:
- Application and enforcement of the 2006 International Fire Code
- Plan review for Fire Code compliance for tenant improvements and new construction
- Represent the Fire Department on the City of Shelton Development Review Committee
- Investigate the cause and origin of fires that occur within the City of Shelton
The Fire Marshal is responsible to approve fire protection issues for special use permits. Contact the City of Shelton Fire Marshal Monday through Friday 8:00 AM—5:00 PM at 360.432-5170.
