6/2015 - Contract executed between the City of Shelton and Aspect Consulting to provide support coordinating with Washington State Department of Ecology, Technical support for Grant Applications, Review of Historical Documents, and Draft and Remedial Investigation/Feasibility Study.
6/2016 - Executed agreement between Washington State Department of Ecology and Shelton providing funding from the Toxic Cleanup Remedial Action Grant Program.
9/2015-12/2016 - Coordinated work plan with Washington State Department of Ecology, Technical support for Grant Applications, and Review of Historical Documents.
3/2017 - Draft Remedial Investigation Work Plan completed and sent to Washington State Department of Ecology.
4/2017 - Final Remedial Investigation Work Plan completed and sent to Washington State Department of Ecology.
5/2017 - Geophysical survey completed as the first element of the remedial investigation. Also performed the field survey, interpretation and reporting activities.
5/2017 - Department of Ecology funding Amendment No. 1 provided for the expiration date of the Agreement to be extended from June 30, 2017 to June 30, 2019.
7/2017 - Collected samples for the Surface Characterization portion of the remedial investigation.
8/2017 - Topographic and Boundary surveys completed.
10/2017 - RI Data Transmittal Oct. 2017
12/2017 - Aspect Consulting begins drilling monitoring wells to determine the extent of contaminants.
1/2018 - 2017 4th Quarter report states the drilling of the monitoring wells is complete. Surface Characterization dioxin/furan analyses was in process at the end of the 4th quarter. Data will be submitted to Dept. of Ecology.
6/2018 - Department of Ecology funding Amendment No. 2 provided for the redistribution of funds among tasks to better reflect project spending needs.

- Initial Surface Soil Characterization and Groundwater Testing Results
10/2018 -
Department of Ecology Funding Amendment No. 3 provided for the addition of two new tasks as well as an increase in state funding amount by an additional $600,000.
3/2019 -
RI Data Transmittal March 2019
5/20/19 - Department of Ecology Funding Amendment No. 4 amended the expiration date of the Agreement from June 30, 2019 to June 30, 2021.
